Imam has played percussion all over Indonesia; ethnic rock, reggae, blues, and experimental music. His group KPJM (Kelompok Penyani Jalanan Malioboro) opened for Swami, the collaborative effort of Iwan Falls and Sawung Jabo, in Surabaya, Salatiga and Yogyakarta during their first concert tour.
