Imam's paintings have been show both within Indonesia and the USA. Most of his early works have been sold, so the paintings shown in these pages are relatively new pieces. 


After numerous group exhibitions in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, Imam had the opportunity to show his paintings in Schenectady, NY with his first solo exhibition entitled Another World: Messages from Indonesia. His second solo exhibition, Open Space Open Mind, was the first of a series of planned events where Imam not only displays his paintings, but also provides space for emerging artists to show their works. This concept is in the spirit of his belief that there is Unity in Art.
